# User Analytics

> Track user-wise video engagement including plays, watch time, trends, and detailed performance insights with filtering and export options.

  <Step title="Access User Analytics Dashboard">
    Open the <b>User Analytics</b> section from the main dashboard to analyze engagement metrics per user.

  <Step title="View Overview Metrics">
    At the top of the dashboard:

    * <b>Plays</b> card shows the total number of video plays within the selected date range.
    * <b>Watch Time</b> card displays the total accumulated watch time across all users.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Analyze Plays Trend Graph">
    The <b>Plays</b> area chart visualizes date-wise engagement trends.\
    Use it to identify peak activity days and performance drops over time.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Apply Date Range Filter">
    Use the <b>Date Range</b> selector in the Filters panel to analyze user engagement for a specific timeframe.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Metric Type">
    Use the <b>Metric</b> dropdown (e.g., Plays) to dynamically update the graph and data based on the selected metric.

  <Step title="Filter by User ID">
    Use the <b>User</b> search field to filter analytics for a specific user and review their individual performance.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Apply or Reset Filters">
    * Click <b>Apply</b> to update analytics based on selected filters.
    * Click <b>Reset</b> to clear filters and return to default view.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review User Performance Table">
    The <b>User</b> table displays:

    * User ID
    * Total Watch Time
    * Total Plays
    * Percentage contribution

    This helps compare engagement levels across users.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Download Analytics Report">
    Click <b>Download</b> to export user analytics data for external analysis.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save Report">
    Click <b>Save Report</b> to generate and store a report snapshot for future reference.
